To assure that our approval and certification goes well beyond greenwashing, The Board of Advisors at EcoRooms® & EcoSuites™ assembled the 'Significant Seven," a rigorous set of standards for ecologically responsible hotel products, practices, and principles.

We developed these criteria by combining the experience of our Board of Advisors with the needs expressed by Eco-conscious consumers in surveys by Deloitte and TIA. Our approved hotels use more sustainable cleaning, paper, and amenity products, empower guests to make a difference with recycling and linen re-use programs, and increase efficiency with better lighting, plumbing, and planning.
